I'd prefer a slightly richer semantic editing flow. For example instead of just importing plain images I'd rather import a figure with a subtext that can be referenced from the text (think LaTeX figures and references). If code snippets are included I'd like to be able to write them in separate files and include them. The details need to be worked out.
